Mission Statement

Highline College will provide educational and support services which are non-judgmental and equitable to justice involved individuals. Highline seeks to inspire hope and goal attainment through educational services starting with high school equivalency through postsecondary education as well as student support services in college navigation, funding and employment readiness.

  1. Develop non-judgmental and equitable access to academics and an environment to achieve success.
  2. Develop pre and post release programs to facilitate success and reduce recidivism in King County.
  3. Develop meaningful objectives to measure outcomes.
  4. Develop partnerships with off campus “incarcerating” partners (city, state, and federal correctional facilities).
  5. Develop partnerships with on and off campus “non-incarcerating” partners.
