About Us: Transition Success Center
The Transition Success Center (TSC) is committed to supporting our students who are part of these two departments who are near their program completion and in the process of transitioning into college credit classes:
- ELCAP (English Language, Career and Academic Prep): ABE, ESOL, GED and Jumpstart Students
- HSEAS (High School Engagement & Academic Success) Program: ELL ExCEL, High School Success, Pathway to College, High School Plus and High School Completion
We provide the following services for our students:
- Academic and Career Exploration: help students understand the different degree programs at Highline College, and plan out your academic and career goals.
- How to Pay for College: help students understand how to pay for college and what funding resources are available on campus.
- Admission and Enrollment: assist with admission, residency and financial aid applications, and help with class registration.
- Referrals & Advocacy: provide campus and community referrals, and advocacy support to help you be successful.
TSC Mission:
Transition Success Center’s (TSC) Mission is to assist our students who are transitioning from their non-college credit programs (ELCAP & HSEAS) to access postsecondary opportunities, navigate and understand degree and career pathways, break down language/funding/accessibility barriers, and provide strengths-based advising for students.
TSC Values:

- Guidance – We provide one-on-one guidance to students and academic planning steps to transitioning to college
