Workshops & Presentations

TSC offers the following quarterly workshops for our ELCAP & HSEAS students:

• TSC 101: short informative presentation about services that TSC offers. ELCAP & HSEAS faculty can reach out to TSC Navigator, Tiffany Dinh, tdinh@highline.edu to schedule a classroom presentation. (Duration: 30-45 mins)
• Degree Exploration: students will learn about the types of certificates and degrees that Highline College offers and have the opportunity to reflect on their academic/career goals. (Duration: 1 hour)
• Paying for College 101: students will learn the basic fundamentals of financial aid, types of funding, and applications & deadlines (Duration: 1 hour)
• Funding Labs: opportunity for students to receive assistance with their common funding applications (e.g. FAFSA/WASFA/WES) (Duration: 1-2 hours)
• IBEST 101: informative presentation about IBEST eligibility, programs, and next steps. ELCAP & HSEAS faculty can reach out to TSC Navigator, Tiffany Dinh to schedule a classroom presentation. (Duration: 45 mins)
• Information Sessions for Professional Technical Programs at Highline College: these info session workshops are hosted quarterly for students & community to attend and learn about the different Professional Technical degree & certificate programs offered at Highline College (Duration: 30 minutes-1 hour)

HSEAS & ELCAP Faculty/Instructors: If you would like our Team to present in your classrooms, please schedule with our Navigator, Tiffany, via email. Include in your email the following: 1) Preferred dates & times, 2) number of students in your class, 3) location.
